Why use my services?
Peace of mind -
I deliver
accurate translations of Birth certificates with
an
attached translator’s certificate with a round court stamp,
which is legally required by Registry Offices in the Czech
Republic including the Special Registry Office in Brno
and other Czech authorities (such as the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs).
If you have
an appointment with the Czech Consulate in London,
the
Certified translation of
a Birth certificate supplied with a round court stamp will
make your appointment at the Czech Consulate quicker
and easier,
because the consular office will not have to verify the
accuracy of the translation and charge you for this service.
Save time and money -
Professional service -
Membership
of a professional organisation -
I have
professional membership with an internationally recognised British
linguistic organisation The Institute of Translation and
Interpreting and adhere to their code of conduct.
How to order a translation of your Birth certificate from English to Czech:
The Special
Registry Office in Brno (Zvláštní matrika
v Brně) informed me that the
translation of the Birth certificate must be attached either to
the original document, verified photocopy or to a certified
copy. The
Special Registry Office in Brno does keep the translation in
their files and does not return the translated documents to the
clients.
Verified copy -
For those purposes, the verification of the photocopies in order
to be recognised by Czech authorities can be done in the UK only
by the Czech Consulate in London.
Certified copy
- In the UK, the Registry Office that issued your Birth
certificate will, on request, send you any number of duplicate
birth certificates – i.e. the Certified copies.
You can order a certified copy of
your Birth certificate from the Registry Office which issued the
original either by post, telephone or on the internet. It costs
£10.50 and usually takes around five working days.
This is the easiest
option.
If your Birth certificate was
issued in another foreign country, please contact the Consulate of
the Czech Republic to enquire as to whether the Birth certificate
needs to have an Apostille or super-legalisation stamp.

How quickly can I return the certified
translation of the Birth certificate to you?
Generally, I guarantee that you will
receive the certified translation by post within
14 working days from the day when
I have received
both the document and payment from you.
What to do if your Birth certificate is in
the
English language but has been issued in another country than in
the UK?
If possible, try to obtain a duplicate or a certified copy of the Birth certificate from the office where the original was issued. If you cannot obtain a certified copy, in that case I recommend that you send me just a photocopy or scan of the document by email I will attach the translation to the copy and then your will need to take the translation together with the original document to the Czech Consulate for verification. They will put a verification stamp on the translation verifying that the copy to which the translation is attached agrees with the original document.
