Mrs Jaroslava Nováková,
owner of the highly successful Prague based
training and coaching organisation Top Consulting, visited
the international trade fair exhibition World of Learning
organised by UK Trade & Investment with the objective to find
potential business partners who are offering their own business
training with the view of future cooperation and buying their
training methodology, training aids and learning and development
systems. Although Mrs Nováková’s
English is excellent, she decided that it would be
good if an interpreter was present at her meetings with the
other exhibitors. As she said to me:
”This was a good decision,
because after several intense hours of presentations of training
and study programmes from several companies, the amount of
information was just overwhelming. I felt I could relax, because
you were there with me, and if I did not completely take
something in I could ask you to clarify it for me when I needed
it. But it took the pressure off me and lessened the stress of
listening.”
